Felines and Friends grooming is one of the few feline forward cat grooming salons in San Diego. Built with your kitty in mind, we offer a quiet, cat friendly environment. We groom one-on-one to ensure your pet is in and out in a realistic amount of time. Our groomers specialize in cats specifically and have over 10 years of experience. "I cannot say enough wonderful things about Feline and Friends and Jen.
I first met Jen and her boyfriend at the Cat Fanciers event in Del Mar. I met a lot of wonderful vendors that day; however, being from Costa Mesa, most were just too far for repeated business. When I met Jen, though, something about her energy stood out. If you meet her, you’ll know exactly what I mean—even if it’s hard to put into words.
I decided to bring my 15-year-old senior cat, Evie, to see her. Jen had already answered most of my questions at the Del Mar event, but she was just as kind at their San Diego location, taking the time to explain everything I still had questions about. I made the nearly hour-and-a-half drive, and it was absolutely worth it.
The salon is a little tucked-away spot upstairs in a small plaza, but inside it’s very clean and very unique. You can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail of their salon and business model, and that it was thoughtfully designed by two true animal lovers."

"Found this amazing place on tiktok of all places but I’m ever so glad I did. The whole process of booking the appointment to dropping off my spoiled cat to picking her up was amazing. When I called to get more information the guy I spoke to was full of information and took the time to get to know my cats to make sure they would be a good fit there. He asked if the cats were already used to being bathed and having nails clipped. He gave me some great suggestions and then said I was doing a lot of great things to make sure the cats are happy. We were able to to get an appointment for the same week for my one cat who was shedding the most. We dropped her off and the lady who was going to bath her started to talk to her where she could her and made her feel comfortable. I love how big the rooms are and they ( the cat ) has a large space to roam and is not in a small kennel. I honestly think this helped my cat allow someone else bath her and eased my fears of trying somewhere new. Two hours later got a text saying she was ready to be picked up and that she did amazing. When I got there my cat was looking at me like what did you do and why did you leave me 😂 but I could already see how pretty she looked. She looked skinner due to all the hair they brushed off. I can’t wait to bring my other cat in few weeks. While at first the price scared me, seeing everything they did, the price is worth it. They did her toes, cleaned her ears and washed / dried and cleaned her up so nicely. Thank you soo much can’t wait to try the styling they offer."

"In an act of desperation, I called Feline and Friends to see what they could do to help. They were so patient with me, and while they explained they couldn't bathe her, they could do their best to comb out as many fleas as possible. We scheduled a time at the end of their work day, once all other animals were out of the shop and parking lot to avoid any possibility of spreading the fleas. These guys clearly take their client's safety and health seriously, which is very appreciated. Once I got there, the two groomers patiently combed out 95% of my baby's fleas, meticulously going over her fur for about 30 minutes. I say 95% because it would be impossible to get them all, and that's not any fault of theirs.
I could have cried, I was so relieved. I just needed someone to help me, and they were the first people that I felt like earnestly were trying to make the situation better for me. My baby is still in quarantine until she can get her flea bath (just a few more days, and you can trust I'm taking her back to Feline and Friends!) but she looks soooo much better, it's crazy! The removal of most of the adult fleas, and the fact that her flea meds are finally kicking in, means she has almost no adult fleas on her anymore. She seems
so much more comfortable. Best of all, I feel like I can breathe again because I feel like I have control of the situation.
Truly, I can't thank Feline and Friends enough. I was so stressed before they helped my baby, and I feel a million times better now. They helped me regain peace and joy while my baby is undergoing her flea treatment, and I couldn't recommend them enough. They are compassionate and clearly take the care of their animals with the utmost seriousness. 10/10. "
